Manual Production Became Smart Self‑Service

Båstadgruppen is one of Sweden’s leading suppliers of workwear and promotional clothing. During major launches, tenders, and events, there is often a need for tailored catalogues that help customers and sales teams achieve the best possible results. As Båstadgruppen’s product offering and assortment grew, demand for catalogues increased as well.
To meet this need, the company wanted to enable resellers to create their own sales and marketing materials more easily.

From Media Bank to Tailored Solution

When Båstadgruppen first contacted SQLI, the initial idea was simply to develop a media bank to store and distribute images. But during the project, it became clear that the concept could be taken much further: by building on the same foundation, we could create a tool that not only simplified image handling, but also enabled users to generate complete catalogues on their own.

Previously, all product catalogues were produced manually. The goal was to find a solution that would allow sales representatives to create professional catalogues with exactly the products they needed — quickly, easily, and with high quality.

The result was the Catalogue Generator – a solution that allows sales reps to assemble catalogues directly in the platform. In just a few minutes, they can select products, adjust information, tailor the layout, and export a ready‑to‑use PDF, prepared for print or digital distribution.

The Outcome: From 2 to 200 Catalogues per Month

The impact was immediate after launch in summer 2025. Where only a few tailored catalogues could be produced each month, the team now creates around 200 per month. This represents a hundredfold increase in efficiency.
And beyond efficiency, the accessibility of the tool has enabled a completely new way of working — one that benefits multiple roles who previously did not have access to this type of material.

The tool is used daily by the company’s 30 sales representatives, as well as buyers and partners who produce their own versions featuring news or campaign content. By making the solution available to more people in the organisation, Båstadgruppen has established a new, efficient workflow that strengthens the entire sales chain.
